Saturnine Frequency Noir
At long last the new album is finally available for your ears. This album is unique in that our usually zany circusy sound takes a back seat to a more dark ambient texture. Todd taps into some unfamiliar synth patches, and produces some eerie anxious atmospheres. Enjoy!
More albums on their way soon.

Get Outs the Sprouts
Title says it all. Here's an up beat danceable little jam from 2014. There is copious amounts of new music coming down the sewage line, this will be on not the next album, but the one after that.

Dark Nebula
In an effort to clear out the backlogs of unreleased Brown Christmas recordings, and to keep listeners updated on our continuing auditory adventures, I will be attempting to post something new every week.
While the last few tracks posted on our soundcloud have been previews from our 'new' upcoming album, they were actually recorded almost 3 years ago. This song however, is freshly picked from only a few weeks ago. I can't say when recordings from this jam session will actually make their way onto an album, hopefully it won't be 3 years from now, but for now enjoy this little dark spacey synth ditty.

Walls
Things go from ambient to abrasive, with this new track from our upcoming album. About a minute into this recording I lost control of the situation; the electronics became sentient and started blasting deliciously textured noise. Luckily the ghostly humming and clicking from Todd's synth kept everything grounded.

Night Skyline
Start the new year off with a new track from The Brown Christmas. As previously mentioned this album will be significantly different from our previous releases, not that our albums are all that uniform to begin with, but with this recording session we explore the softer, more ambient side of The Brown Christmas. It is also noteworthy that this is the first album to feature only myself and Todd; normally our albums consist of trios of Todd, Joemazing, and myself or duos between Joemazing and I. So sit back and listen as we duel it out with our synthesizers.

Noise Fest
We recently did a live performance as part of a 4 day noise fest in Philadelphia. It was actually a combination of solo (Chalk Harmonica Vibe) and Brown Christmas tunes. Here are several forms of documentation as proof.
First a couple photos of us standing stoically over a table of electronics.
Next here's an audio recording of our performance, as well as all the other musicians that played.

And lastly here is a video collage of short snippets from every performer.
We greatly appreciate the opportunity to have been a part of this event. It was a fantastic time with many great artists.
